This course will give you a wonderful chance to find treasure in Korea! :) 

This program is designed for people of all ages who want to learn more about Korean culture and language through storytelling.

You will choose one Korean Folk Tale and learn it in Korean. If you want to upgrade your Korean level and make your Korean presentation more accurate this course is absolutely helpful to improve your presentation skill in public.

Seung-Ah Kim is a professional Korean storyteller. After having shared stories around the world for over 10 years; her dream is to set up an International Storytelling Foundation and a K-Storytelling Center in Seoul.

The purpose of this project is to provide facilities and technical support to storytellers worldwide so that they are able to benefit humanity through the power of storytelling. To achieve this goal, Seung-Ah has gathered a team of partners. Now her team is reaching out to get more corporate sponsors and individual donors like you.

Performances of 2017

 Seung Ah Kim 


"I want to educate and communicate with everyone about Korean culture and art form. My aim is to contribute in bridging cultural gaps and having people become more aware of the cultural confusions and misconceptions, especially in a world where we are becoming globalized, it is critical."


Seungh Ah has been a performing storyteller since 2007. Seung Ah has entertained audiences across the globe and was the first ever featured Korean storyteller at Singapore’s International Storytelling Festival 2014 and at the International Storytelling Festival in Rome and Balzano (2015 and 2016).

‘The Black Nose Reindeer and the Red Mag Pie, Karu and Palkka,’ is also an award winning story which made her debut as a writer.

She was also invited to give workshops and presentations at various academic institutions, companies, and festivals including: Samsung, NamSeoul University, Kyung Hee University, Hanguk University of Foreign Studies; University of Incheon and Gyeongju Culture EXPO (South Korea), 2015 Singapore international Storytelling Festival (Singapore), Raccontamiunastoria (Italy), The “Mythos” Center for the Study and Dissemination of Myths and Folktales (Greece).
